The roller will shift to the wedge applied section due to the load by the spring.
Then, retaining power will be generated at the inner lace. (Rotation in both left and right directions is locked.)

Then the roller is pushed out of the wedge applied section,
and the retaining power is released. Now the torque is transferred to the inner lace.
